Produktinformationen & Duftnoten

Before vanilla became a familiar sweetness, it was a treasure.

Imagine the year is 1768.

A small wooden chest has arrived from a distant voyage, carried across oceans and opened by candlelight in the private chamber of an old-world perfumer. Inside, wrapped carefully in parchment, lie dark, cured vanilla pods. Supple, almost black, and still glistening with their natural oils.

The room grows quiet as the first pod is split.

This is Origins Of Vanilla.

A DUA Original created as an exploration of vanilla before it became simply “vanilla.” Before the cakes, the candies, and the modern confections. This fragrance journeys back to the raw material itself, uncovering the many hidden faces held within the precious pod.

The story begins with the deep aroma of Vanilla Planifolia Bean and sun-dried vanilla pods, dark, textured, and remarkably true to nature. There is a gentle sweetness, but also something woody, earthy, and almost leathery beneath it, like opening an antique wooden chest where vanilla beans have been left to age.

As the fragrance warms, richer layers begin to emerge. Madagascar Vanilla Absolute reveals a dense, balsamic sweetness while Bourbon Vanilla CO₂ Extract brings a beautifully preserved impression of the bean itself, smooth, warm, and naturally complex. Vanilla Oleoresin adds a darker resinous depth, while the impression of an aged vanilla tincture feels as though whole vanilla pods have been slowly steeping in glass bottles on an apothecary shelf for years.

At its heart lies the soft, almost creamy flesh of vanilla bean pulp, surrounded by the shadowy richness of dark vanilla resin. Hints of tonka bean and benzoin tears melt into the composition, not to transform the vanilla into dessert, but to illuminate the naturally sweet, balsamic, and softly spiced facets already hidden within it.

Finally, golden amber and soft woods settle over the skin like the last glow of candlelight.

Origins Of Vanilla is not simply a vanilla scented perfume.

It is a journey back to the beginning.

To the pod before the pastry.

To the extract before the confection.

To the dark, fragrant bean that once traveled across oceans as something rare, mysterious, and precious.

A study of vanilla in its many natural forms, layered together to create something that feels remarkably alive.

Dark pods. Golden extracts. Aged tinctures. Precious resins.

This is where vanilla begins.

Origins Of Vanilla.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

Sind eure Parfums original?

Ja.
